Whitley Court

 

Whitley Court have postponed all activities in the main communal areas due to the recent Government Guidelines relating to coronavirus.

We have been busy supporting service users who are continuing to self-isolate with their shopping, whilst ensuring we also support them to contact their family and friends. Staff at Whitley Court have spent time with Service Users to discuss any concerns they may have, play board games and arrange any food parcels from the food bank for Service Users who require them.

There was a burns night quiz provided by the Landlord.

January has been a quiet month in the scheme and many of us enjoy reading the Daily Sparkle displayed in reception.

We have started the weekly testing in January for of staff and every 28 days for Service Users for Coronavirus.

January has also seen the start of the Covid vaccination programme for both staff and Service Users. In the coming months hopefully, we will all have had our vaccinations and we can start to get back to some sort of normality.

I would like to thank the Care and Support Team for doing an amazing job in keeping everyone safe.

Staff at Dunboyne Court have spent time with Service Users to discuss any concerns they may have, play board games and arrange any food parcels from the food bank for any Service Users who require them.
