Residents enjoyed a great day out to the London Aquarium. It was such a nice day we found somewhere to sit in the shade and have some lunch, before going into the Aquarium. Once in they were all fantastic in walking over the glass bridge over the sharks. Everyone was then able to explore the Aquarium at their own leisure. Residents had great fun learning about the sea creatures. some of the residents got to hold ‘mermaid purses’ (the cases that shark and sting ray babies grow in). we even made a new friend with the resident turtle. Residents then enjoyed a well-deserved ice cream after all the exploring. And we couldn’t not have a bit of a boogie in the Jubilee park before coming back!
