At one of our Newham Extra Care Schemes, residents and staff came together for a vibrant Cultural Day, celebrating the rich tapestry of backgrounds that make up their community. The atmosphere buzzed with joy as everyone dressed in colourful cultural attire, proudly showcasing their heritage. Traditional music filled the air, and tables were adorned with homemade dishes from around the world—each bite a delicious journey into someone’s culture. Laughter, dancing, and heartfelt conversations flowed freely, creating a warm and inclusive environment. It was a beautiful reminder of the strength found in diversity, and how sharing our differences brings people closer together.
