Oh, I do like to be beside the seaside!
Residents enjoyed a glorious day at Clacton-on-Sea this month. They started off with an easy train ride from Stratford to Clacton. Enjoying the passing scenery of fields and towns. Once at Clacton residents spent time walking along the beach, posing for pictures and even taking the tiny train along the pier. The residence enjoyed delicious fish and chips, a go on the 2p machines (although I think the carers had more fun on those), a paddle in the sea, and not forgetting an ice cream.
Everyone had a great time and can’t wait for our next trip to the seaside.
