Love was in the air this February and at Amber Court we made that statement true. Clients decorated their own heart of their own design and put them up around the scheme for all to see. Residents were encouraged to come to a communal space one at a time to maintain social distancing measures and allow some time to talk about how our service users are feeling.

One of our Service users also took part in a poetry project, that aims to bring school children and the elderly together through poetry and nature. The session brainstormed ideas for the poem and we are looking forward to receiving the finished poems, so watch this space.

Staff and Service Users throughout both Amber Court and Violet Court have been offered the opportunity to have their vaccination against the COVID-19 Virus. Staff have ensured that all information has been available for all service users and staff to make an informed decision and support to source the vaccine has been available.

Interviews have been taking place for new members of the care team and we are excited to welcome them all to our schemes. We continue to recruit at this time and are looking forward to further developing our team.

Now that the days are starting to get a little bit warmer we are starting to prepare the garden space at Amber Court so that we are ready to plant our flowers and vegetables. We are hopeful that when our social distancing measures ease a little the we will be able to reinstate further activities and the walking group. Lots for all to look forward to in the coming months.
