Our Scheme of the Month for June was Ethelburga Court!
Ethelburga provided wonderful end of life care to a gentleman last month, with staff staying on way over their hours to provide support to him and his wife. Staff also supported with washing and dressing the service user to be able to support his wish of a pure cremation after his passing.
They also continue to provider fantastic end of life care to another service user, and ensure she doesn’t miss out on any activities, especially her favourite bingo which they have been holding in her flat so she can join in . A number of residents and care staff also held a sing song in her flat last month, with the video bringing us all to tears! The relative quoted “they are not just carers they are Angels” and we definitely agree!
