we obviously had to make changes to plans due to the pandemic but we still ensured all of our residents had deliveries of Christmas boxes, hot chocolate and mince pies delivered with a staff dressed up and a smiley face!
We also held our own hot chocolate station for our staff so they could have a takeout hot cocoa at the end of a shift or to warm them up to start.
We also had a fantastic staff member sing out carols in the garden- she has a beautiful and powerful voice and sang with such passion.
Our pantomime was cancelled and then adapted due to our communal areas being closed and then re adapted but just on the day following advice from PHE we had to cancel so there we sat dressed as scrooge and a dame with no show to do- however the costumes and enthusiasm are still here and the show will go on when it is safe to do so, obviously even scrooge cares about keeping our staff and residents safe!
