Again at Gordon Colling House our residents also had Christmas boxes, mince pies and hot chocolate delivered – we received such lovely comments, and thanks for trying to improvise as Christmas has always been huge at Gordon Colling house. We sang as long as we were able to and even learned the popular ‘Jerusalama dance’
We had trees galore- a memory tree, a ppe tree and light at the end of a tunnel tree!
Our hot choc station is now a daily habit – we will miss this once it’s gone!
We had a giant raffle and this in itself showed further acts of kindness with some of our residents giving out their winning prizes to others in need. Gordon colling house is a community of caring and sharing and this pandemic has shown that more than ever.
